Exciting news for those in the Valley! Salt River Tubing is back and better than ever with new changes for the 2023 season. The company now has a new owner, William Jinks, who has added an online reservation system and an easier pick-up process for tubes. Instead of picking up your tube at the Salt River Tubing location, you just have to pick up a wristband there and then get on a bus to pick up your tube at the water.

Jinks, a Valley businessman and resident, bought the business because he saw an opportunity to bring positive changes to the company. He has also kept the tube rental price at $25, which includes a shuttle ride, and $18 if you’re bringing your own tube.

As the season kicks off, the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is emphasizing safety. Sgt. Joaquin Enriquez encourages everyone to have a plan, tell someone where you’re going, drink responsibly, and have a designated driver. For those who plan to paddleboard, make sure to bring a life jacket and know the law and the area.

Enriquez assures everyone that safety is a top concern for them and that they have double the resources with their summer schedule. So come out and enjoy the iconic spot of Salt River Tubing while staying safe and having fun!
