Rosemary Ellen Campbell, 95, passed away November 16, 2022 in Scottsdale, AZ.

She was born on May 13, 1927 in Braidwood, IL to the late Frank and Esther Shaunnessy. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Campbell) Stalzer and her husband, Louis, of Scottsdale, AZ; her son, Kelly Campbell and his wife Nancy (Bayci) of Romeoville, IL; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 70 years, Joseph Byron Campbell; her sister, Esther Pierard and her two brothers, Thomas and William Shaunnessy.

Upon graduation from Reed-Custer High School in Braidwood, IL, Rosemary worked as a secretary at the Joliet Arsenal during WWII. After raising her family, she worked at Manpower, INC. and then later at St. Joseph Hospital in Joliet, IL at the visitors’ information desk for 14 years until her retirement.

After retirement, Rosemary and Joe moved to Arizona where she especially enjoyed decorating their new homes. They spent many years exploring the state and its desert backroads. They also enjoyed their traveling adventures outside AZ with several of their long-time friends over the years.

Services for both Rosemary and Joe will be held at the Abraham Lincoln National Veterans’ Cemetery in Elwood, IL on June 6th 2023 at 11 a.m.
