Larry Poniatowski, 74 passed away in his home on February 15, 2023. He had struggled 30 years with multiple diseases related to agent orange exposure. During the Vietnam war, Larry volunteered for service in the Air Force and his tour of duty overseas. Despite illness, he had a successful career in healthcare until retirement 9 years ago.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy, together they shared 48 years of marriage and family life. Son, Greg (Leah) Poniatowski; daughter, Janet (Matt) Taylor and dearly loved grandsons, Remi and Dean were blessed with his life. His sister-in-law Judy Poniatowski and nephew, Jim (Maureen) Poniatowski and their children were a joy to him.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, Ed and Ann Poniatowski, brother, Ron Poniatowski and cousin, Pauline Crout.
Larry expired with confidence and trust in God’s Divine Mercy. Through faith, we know him to be at eternal peace.
Mass will be celebrated at St. Rose Philippine Duchesne, 2825 W Rose Canyon Circle, Anthem, AZ at 10 AM on Thursday, March 2.
Interment will follow at 2pm at the National Memorial Cemetery 23029 N Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, 85024.
